SOCIUS GETS CBIZ DYNAMICS AND SYSPRO BIZ

Socius logoInterDyn Socius has acquired the Dynamics business from CBiz, the accounting, financial planning, and tax company that is getting out of the technology market. But what the Socius press release did not say was that it's also picking up the Syspro practice from Cleveland-based CBiz. Socius CEO Jeff Geisler said there are clients and demand for Sysopro in the Kansas City area. The company will also evaluate whether Syspro should be offered at its other offices.
Before the CBiz deal, Socius had offices only in Ohio, although it also operated in surrounding states. With the acquisition, it picked up about 25 former CBiz staff members and offices in Tennessee, Kansas City and Northern California. If Syspro is placed in the other offices, it would be a real coup for Syspro US in picking up such a high-quality reseller.  And Geisler noted news that I think about everyone but me knew about which was that founder Doug Weintraub phased out of Socius in 2009. InterDyn has been an award winner for both Microsoft and Sage, but appears headed more towards the Dynamics market. Recently, it joined five other top Microsoft resellers in forming Advanced Distribution Partners, to handle a distribution package for Dynamics AX.
