SUITEYS HIGHLIGHT QB REPLACEMENT

Zach Nelson, NetSuiteNo, NetSuite did not make a big deal about replacing QuickBooks in its first-ever Suitey awards. But in the six categories in which the displaced financial package was named, QuickBooks was involved in six of them. The Suiteys were handed out last week and replaced the infamous Hair Ball Awards.
The latter were named in recognition the NetSuite contention that many companies have a hair ball of applications to untangle in the accounting realm. CEO Zach Nelson said he cast the only vote for keeping the Hair Ball name. The awards and winners were Fastest ERP Deployment, Glassdoor.com, in which NetSuite replaced QuickBooks, Excel and Zuora; Best eCommerce Solution, GoPro with NetSuite taking over from QuickBooks, Salesforce and Excel. The NetSuite Manufacturing module replaced QuickBooks and spreadsheets for Jawbone, which got honors for the Best Manufacturing Solution, while DataCert, winner of Best Software Company Solution, disposed of QuickBooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Project and Excel. NetSuite also booted QuickBooks at Kiva.org, which took home the award for Best Non-Profit Solution. MFS Supply, winner of Best Wholesale Distribution Solution implementing NetSuite to replace a homegrown system. It is notable that classic mid-market ERP packages were not mentioned. Two awards went to companies in the enterprise space and another one for SuiteCloud implementations in which replaced products were not an issue.
