Dutch tax authorities are promising to collect revenue from the ladies of Amsterdam's red light district. It's called the flat-on-your back tax.  Maybe the rest of the Europe Union can look to this revenue stream to shore up the euro.  Actually, one of the real problems for taxing authorities about this business is calculating depreciation. I walked passed some of the low-rent booths in the district in June and some of the ladies are very depreciated. ...
Meanwhile, 74-year old Italian Prime Silvio Berlusconi is being investigated for allegations he paid to have sex with a 17-year old Moroccan girl. Berlusconi pleads he was just trying to bridge the generation gap and improve international relations. The PM is being considered for the "Hugh Hefner Hall of Fame". Hefner, now 84, just got engaged to a 24-year old, and labeled the Italian politician "a mere amateur." I'd call them sugar daddies, but I think this guys melted a long time again. By the way, the age of consent in Italy is 14 which earned it the Roman Polanski Seal of Approval. (But it's illegal to promote prostitution for those under 18 years old). Berlusconi also said he was promoting tourism - the young lass wanted to see an ancient Italian ruin. By the way, readers of publications that carried the engagement announcement for Hefner offered their readers free samples of Dramamine. ... Someone got carried away from truth in labeling at the local supermarket. One of the baby food product lines had a label "Warning, does not contain baby parts."
