RANDOM THOUGHTS: AFTER THE DOCTOR

After the doctor said that the MRI showed deterioration of one knee, I've started humming that old favorite, "All I want for Christmas is a new right knee, a new right knee." Actually, I’m just waiting for my adult knee to grow in. I’m putting the old one under my pillow for the knee fairy. He ought to command a bigger payoff than the tooth fairy. I've always had a trick knee, but it's learned a new trick and that's not being able to straighten out when I kneel.

... I see my hometown Indiana newspaper has a new feature "Local Meth Lab News." Always good to support small business. .... Jay Leno has a Monday night feature on his television show called "White Trash Repairs". I think I saw one of my cousin's places on the last broadcast. ... Somebody asked me if I saw combative model Naomi Campbell on TV. I replied, "No, what weight class is she fighting in?" ... Some leftover thoughts about Amsterdam. One local told me business had improved dramatically after the implementation of a hop on, hop off system. "Buses?" I asked. "No, hookers," he replied. There was a sign in one window that read, "You're in Good Hands" and then I realized the place didn't sell insurance. ... I ordered 100 tulip bulbs in Amsterdam, including 40 blue ones, that are scheduled to arrive this fall. The Netherlands is the one place you want to make sure you got the right product number and you get tulips and not a cannabis starter kit.
