SAGE TESTS PRODUCT ROAD SHOWS
Sage has conducted road shows in five cities in a pilot program that brings together resellers, customers and prospects. The program was held under Sage MME Channel Growth Marketing, led by Diana Waterman, and events were held in Jersey City, N.J.; Irvine, Calif.; Atlanta, Ga.; Chicago, Ill.; and Dallas, Texas.
The focus was primarily on the midmarket financial software line, although there was information presented outside of the ERP packages. There was a representative from a company providing a Sage Endorsed Solution in each city. Although VARs were invited, Sage said since this was a pilot to determine feasibility, not all area resellers were asked to attend. The criterion for an invitation was described as follows: "Business partners who are actively engaged with Sage to collaboratively grow our business together."
