Sleeter noted she taught seminars for the Sleeter Group from 1998 through 2000 and developed some certifications for QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. Nagayama had been the Sleeter Group's chief QuickBooks consultant since 2004 and was "Widely known as one of the best experts on QuickBooks," Sleeter said. She was an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and Certified QuickBooks Enterprise ProAdvisor. Her LinkedIn profile noted she had written and recorded numerous courses for the Intuit Academy and the ProAdvisor Certification Team.

Bonnie McWilliams Nagayama, who was well-known in the QuickBooks community, has passed away. President of the CPA firm McWilliams & Associates, Nagayama was a top Intuit reseller, according to Doug Sleeter, founder and former head of the Sleeter Group, who called her, "A good friend of mine and someone who helped everyone around her."
