Prod wareThe switch from license sales to subscriptions helped push revenue for the Prodware Group down by 3.2 percent for the year ended December 31. Revenue totaled about $186.1 million in 2016, which was down .8 percent on a comparable basis. The company said SaaS sales rose to about $19.6 million, up 46.6 percent over 2015.

Subscription sales produced lower revenue but will contribute to recurring revenue in future periods. Based in France, the group will report earnings later. Most of the decline occurred in the French-speaking zone where sales fell to $81.8 million, down by 3.2 percent. International revenue was about $104.1 million, an increase of 2.9 percent over 2015. The company sells both Sage and Dynamics software.
