In its revenue report, Prodware said, the decrease in business, is directly "related to its growing integration into SaaS, which is much more profitable in the medium/long term." Prodware noted that SaaS sales will ensure consistent recurring revenue over the next three to five years. Business was difficult in France during the recently ended period because of repeated strikes and floods. Revenue in Spain, Israel and Great Britain continued momentum, Prodware said. Germany and Benelux says a drop in revenue because of the growth in SaaS sales. The publishing business produced 34 percent of sales.

Revenue for France-based reseller Prodware dropped by 7.3 percent as SaaS sales rose sharply for the first half ended June 30. First-half revenue reached about $93 million, down 5.5 percent on a comparable basis. The company did not report earnings—those will be issued later. The company said SaaS revenue was up 31 percent over last year's corresponding period while infrastructure sales were off by 33 percent.
