INFOR INTROS FACTORY TRACK

Mark Humphlett, InforInfor has introduced Factory Track, a manufacturing process automation application. Cloud-based, it has flexible deployment options and what Infor says is a lower total cost of ownership. Developed  using the Infor Mongoose rapid application development platform, the product is said to enable more configurability and ease  of enhancements along with a consumer grade user experience on such things as shop floor kiosks and handheld barcode scanners.

INFOR UPDATES S&OP

InforInfor has introduced Infor Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) 10x. Probably more important is the nugget buried at the end of the company’s press release which says the 10.4 version of S&OP is a core component of the Infor Integrated Business Planning suite, to be announced this year. The press release also utilizes a string of Infor-specific language about the 10x technology utilizing the Infor Ion middleware and its Ming.le social collaboration engine that went into baking this cake.

ETAPESTRY GETS ANALYTICS

Mike Gianoni, BlackbaudBlackbaud has integrated analytics in its eTapestry CRM product. The company says this is the first time it has integrated data services from its Target Analytics division into another Blackbaud product. The announcement is in line with statements this year during earnings webcasts by CEO Mike Gianoni that both analytics and payments services will become standard in most of the products from the Charleston, S.C.-based nonprofit software vendor.
