Blackbaud has made what it calls significant enhancements to The Raiser’s Edge. I noticed the press release calls the product the company’s “flagship CRM solution.” Fundraising software must be the old-fashioned term. In a prepared statement, Charles Cumbaa, SVP of president of corporate and product strategy, said this is just the beginning of significant innovation planned for the next 12 months. Among the enhancements are crowdfunding with Everydayhero, another Blackbaud product, which now integrates with The Raiser’s Edge.

The latest version of Abila’s MIP Fund Accounting application helps organizations detect fraud through the addition of a number of enhancements. MIP 2014.6 features Alerts to keep organizations informed about activity within the application, including suspicious activity or key changes. The system can be set up so that terminated employees immediately lose access to MIP functions, including transactions and reporting.

GoldMine, the once important player in the CRM market, has released GoldMine Mobile for Android users. The Milpitas, Calif.-based company was already in the market with versions for the iOS platform. The new version enables users to synch calendar items to the device's native calendar through a Google Apps Business account. User of the mobile edition can create, view, and edit GoldMine Sales.
