ORACLE SEES FASTER CLOUD ADOPTION

Mark Hurd, OracleMark Hurd, CEO of Oracle, says adoption of the cloud is going faster than anticipated. Hurd made his statements at his keynote at this week’s Oracle OpenWorld keynote, reiterating last year’s prediction 85 percent of production applications will be in the cloud by 2025.

DYNAMICS REVS TO HIT $2.5B

Satya Nadella, MicrosoftDynamics revenue will reach $2.5 billion for the year ending June 30, Microsoft said this week. CEO Satya Nadella gave the forecast in this week’s webcast for earnings for the quarter ended September 30. Nadella said half of that will be from Dynamics 365.

QBO ADVANCED ROLLS OUT

 Alex Chriss, IntuitIntuit has debuted QuickBooks Online Advanced after publicly discussing the product for some months. The new application, officially announced this week, supports up to 25 users and Intuit has talked about possibly increasing the user count.
