 Certinia, the recently renamed FinancialForce, has named Rick Caccia as chief marketing officer.

He will oversee brand and creative, product marketing, global communications, demand generation, digital marketing and marketing operations.  He was previously CMO of the Cortex and Unit 42 operations of Palo Alto Networks for slightly more than year. Caccia worked at Google from September 2017 through April 2021 and was head of marketing, Google cloud security products the one year eight months of his career there. FinancialForce changed its name to reflect its broadening its product lines beyond its historical concentration on PSA software in areas such as ERP It also suggests a bitt of distancing from Salesforce, one of its owners and on whose platform its products are built.
