SILVERSUN REPORTS STRONG QUARTER Featured

SilverSun Technologies reported a sharp rebound to profit on a 19.1-percent increase in revenue for the first quarter ended March 31. The company, parent to reseller SWK Technologies, had $277,491 in net income for the most recently ended period, compared to a loss of $40,656 a year ago.

Recent revenue was $3.1 million, up from slightly more than $4 million in last year’ corresponding period. SilverSun broadly cited increases in ERP revenue and pointed to demand for its product lines—Acumatica, Sage 100, Intacct, custom products and hosting—as factors in increases in services revenue. It did not single out the performance of a specific product. Product revenue was $3.3 million, up 27.2 percent from $2.6 million in last year’s corresponding period. Services revenue rose 16.5 percent to $9.8 million from $8.4 million. The company noted that is proposed merger with Rhodium Enterprises, a bitcoin miner, is still pending.
