Acquisitive Visma has named T. Alexander Lystad as its new chief technology officer. Lystad joined the Oslo, Norway-based ERP vendor in 2012.

Since 2012, had served as director of cloud and engineering, advising Visma companies on software architecture and cloud technology. Lystad succeeds Christian Westlye Larsen, who held the position from January 2020 through last month when he left the company to become director of product and technology for Martin Equity Partners. Before joining Visma, Lystad was a freelance web developer for eight years three months. Visma has acquired dozens of software companies—21 in 2021 and more than 30 last year—in France, Latin America, Denmark, Sweden and the Benelux countries.
