COLUMBUS NAMES U.S. SALES HEAD Featured

Columbus has hired Jeff Lilly as its sales director for the United States. The move comes shortly after the Denmark-based reseller agree to sell its SMB financial software business to Enavate for about $16.5 million.

That included the operations for selling Dynamics AX, GP and Business Central. The deal was announced on November 1, but no closing date was released. Columbus whose U.S. business has tanked over the last three years, intends to concentrate on larger customers, Lilly’s portfolio was described as including ERP, data and analytics, and ColumbusCare Managed Services—The remaining ERP business would be Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. Columbus gave no background for Lilly, except to say he has a great track record. However, his LinkedIn page shows he worked for the last 12 years where he ended his tenure as SVP of sales and government relations. Just before the sale, the company had named Sandy Williams as EVP of the SMB division. Apparently, that went nowhere—her Linked Profile shows she was with Columbus from 2014 through 2019 and has nothing with the organization after that.
