FORTIS BUYS VIP PAYMENTS Featured

Fortis has acquired VIP integrated Payments, which integrates with a variety of ERP packages. Terms were not disclosed for the purchase of VIP, which has operated in the United States and Canada for 25 years.

Fortis noted the VIP team, led by CEO Miah Green “will continue to execute as they are integrated into the greater organization” and talked about Green being joined by two other executives it has hired The company added Guy DiMaggio as COO and Raj Panu as VP of business development for the lodging vertical. VIP integrates with Acumatica, NetSuite and all of Sage’s financial applications, including Intacct. Other integrations listed on the company’s website are for Syspro, SAP Business One, QuickBooks, Zoho and Xero. VIP also names Dynamics, but does not specific which products are involved. DiMaggio, whose LinkedIn profile says he joined Fortis in October, was with the CPI Card Group as an SVP from July 2018 until taking the fortis position. Prior to that he was VP and head of operations for iPayments from 2013 through June 2018. Panu, who spent nine year five months with JP Morgan Chase before joining payments companies, with most recently in business development for Ravelin Technology from December 2020 and
