Without providing any figures, the company said NetSuite ERP revenue was up 25 percent—later described as “25-ish” during this week’s earnings webcast. That compares to the first-quarter announcement when Oracle put the number at more than 15,000. Oracle said there were 12,000 at the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2018. The company also added around 500 Fusion ERP customers as it said there were nearly 6,000 of those at the end of the quarter. The first quarter total was about 5,500, up from 5,000 a year earlier. During the webcast, CEO Mark Hurd said NetSuite was growing at 15 percent when Oracle acquired the cloud software vendor. Hurd also gave a bullish description of the future of Oracle cloud products. “We could get into a billion-growth next year in those two solutions,” he said. In his prepared statement, Hurd said the two cloud products had 32-percent revenue growth in the quarter.
