Quisitive Technology Solutions, just named Microsoft's U.S. Partner of the Year, has acquired Ottawa, Ont.-based Corporate Renaissance Group. The purchase price is about $4.87 million, with roughly $4.23 million in cash and the rest in Quisitive stock.

Epicor Software has acquired MechanicNet Group, which makes web-based CRM and retention applications for motor vehicle service businesses and their clients. Terms were not disclosed.

Paya has hired Mark Engels as chief revenue officer. Engels, who joined the executive leadership team, previously held the same title with Hyperwallet from June 2016 through last month.
