XERO HIRES GLOBAL PRODUCT VP

Herman Man, XeroXero has named Herman Man as global VP of product. The fact that Man is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay area shows the cloud software company's continuing effort to have top management presence in the United States. There's been no announcement about the hiring, but Man's LinkedIn page shows he joined New Zealand-based Xero in August. He was co-founder of Chewsy in 2010.

QBO VP HICKS LEFT INTUIT

Terry Hicks, IntuitIn January, we posted a note saying that Terry Hicks, VP of QuickBooks Online was leaving Intuit. I got no response from Intuit PR and there was no news of Hicks leaving for a long time But in the last few days, his LinkedIn page has changed to show his job ended last month. Hicks held the job starting in January 2013 and there is no higher-profile product at Intuit than QBO. It is the product around which the company intends to build its operations.

CONVERGENCE: NOT JUST DYNAMICS

But it was a little jarring to observe that in his keynote, Kirill Tatarinov, president of Microsoft Business Solutions, did not mention any of the four Dynamics ERP packages by name. Dynamics CRM was cited frequently, but not AX, GP, NAV or SL. And with none of the three award-winning customer companies that came to the stage were the back office products named. It was all about CRM and the cloud.

BLUMENTHAL LEAVES RKL

Stuart Blumenthal, Microaccounting SolutionsStuart Blumenthal is leaving RKL eSolutions after a year as VP of consulting at the Lancaster, Pa.-based Sage reseller. Blumenthal is moving to Dallas, Texas-based Microaccounting Solutions to head up its SaaS, Hosting, and Business Intelligence division. He came to RKL in November 2013 after eight years and eight months at Information Systems Management with the sale of that VAR's Sage 500 operations to RKL.

SAP RECRUITING BYD VARS

SAPSAP added three new Business ByDesign resellers during the last quarter in the United States and Canada. And that brings the total in these areas to 42. While that is more than suggested by the SAP partner finder on its website, it seems likely that the number actively selling is lower. John Okunski, director of North American channel sales, says 25 new partners were enlisted in the two countries during the same quarter with 25 more ready to join.

Progressive Media Group Subscription Agreement

  1. This agreement states the general terms for delivery of the content and service ("the Service") provided by Progressive Media Grou, Inc. ("we," "us," "our") to you. To the extent that there are any conflicts, your individual subscription agreement governs the term of your subscription and takes precedence over these general terms.
  2. Access to the Service is provided through e-mail domain name, and shall include specified domains.
  3. You must register a newly acquired company's domain name with us for those users to have access. If a newly acquired company and the acquiring company both have licenses to the Service, the account balances will be merged into order to give both e-mail domains access. If the acquired company license expires the domain name cannot be added to the parent company license.
  4. We reserve the right to monitor usage of our site and to compile reports on the usage.
  5. We do not guarantee e-mail delivery of the content; you are responsible for your own spam filters that may block e-mail delivery. We will take commercially reasonable measures to assist with the delivery of e-mail. We will also take commercially reasonable measures to protect against viruses or other disabling software in content or video, but otherwise make no guarantee that the Service will cause no technical harm to your computer systems.
  6. While we aspire to provide the highest quality information possible, we do not guarantee the accuracy of the Content and will not be held liable for damage or loss of profits due to any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information provided through the Service.
  7. New summaries based on original reports in other publications are prepared by our staff and are not created, sponsored, approved or endorsed by the publications to which the original reports are attributed.
  8. This agreement represents the entire agreement between you and us relating to the Service and matters related thereto, and it supersedes any prior agreement we may have had. This agreement may only be amended by writing signed by you and us.
