CHANNEL ISLANDS AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER

Pam Lopker, QADQAD’S Channel Islands User Experience will be generally available in September, the manufacturing software company said this week. The announcement was made at QAD Explore 2018, its customer conference. Channel Islands debuted in September 2015 as a four-phase program and enables users to run QAD software on devices equipped with a modern browser.

PRODWARE REVS UP 4.1 PERCENT

ProdwareProdware, a Dynamics and Sage reseller based in France, reported revenue of about $53.3 million for the first quarter ended March 31. That was up 4.1 percent from last year’s corresponding period and an increase of 4.9 percent on a comparable basis.

EXPENSES CUT SILVERSUN'S PROFITS

SWK Technologies A 24.4-percent increase in operating expenses cut into the bottom line for SilverSun Technologies, parent of reseller SWK Technologies, for the first quarter ended March 31. The East Hanover, N.J.-based company reported net income of $58,387 for the period just ended, down sharply from $153,853 a year earlier.

AVALARA FILES FOR IPO

Scott McFarlane, AvalaraAvalara has filed for its long-awaited public offering. The Seattle, Wash.-based company will seek a maximum in proceeds from the offering. The company’s S-1 says Avalara lost $64.1 million for the year ended December 31, compared to a loss of $57.9 million for 2016.

XERO REPORTS FIRST EBITDA

Steve Vamos, XeroXero recorded its first positive EBITDA ever for the year ended March 31, about $18 million. The New Zealand-based cloud software company also slashed its net loss to roughly $19.3 million for fiscal 2018, 60-percent lower than the red ink in 2017.
