The hacking of credit rating agency Equifax has been big news. I think someone did take my information. When I asked for a report from Equifax, there was a note at the bottom "This guy's going to be easy pickings."

Blackbaud has named Lianne McGrory as managing director of Blackbaud Europe. McGrory, who started with the company in 2004, working at locations in Glasgow, Scotland, and Dublin, Ireland. She moved to Sydney Australia in 2010 where she managed the sales and professional services business for Blackbaud Pacific.

AvidXchange, which make payment products, has said it will expand its Utah operations. The Charlotte, N.C.-based company says it will add 218 jobs at its Salt Lake City office. AvidXchange entered Utah with its 2015 purchase of Piracle.

Hans E. "Rusty" Turley Jr., a co-founder of the former Micro Information Products, died on September 24. Turley co-founded MIP in 1982 and sold the company to the Sage Group in 2001.

KeyedIn has enhanced the real-time estimating functions in KeyedIn Manufacturing. The company said the changes take estimating from "best guess" to "best practice" with real-time views of preferred vendor pricing and margin calculation.

FinancialForce has hired Microsoft veteran Daniel Brown to the newly created role of chief product officer. Brown was most recently director of corporate development and strategy for Microsoft, a job he moved into in September 2016.

Edgewater Technology has fired Robin Ranzal-Knowles, head of the company's Oracle consulting business. The termination occurred on August 23, but slipped my examination of 8-Ks. The LinkedIn profile of Chris Churchill, a VP of Edgewater Ranzal, shows he is acting president of the group.
