In its announcement, ECI said Khameleon supports “the unique needs of project-based dealers.” Khameleon’s targets include contract office furniture dealers and security systems integrators. It is ECI’s third acquisition this year. In July, it purchased two residential home construction software business units from MiTek and in August it acquired ProfitKey International, an ERP platform for discrete manufacturers. ECI also owns the JobBoss, Max and Macola manufacturing lines.
