NETSUITE GROWTH STAYS HIGH Featured

Revenue for NetSuite’s ERP software rose by 21 percent year-over-year for the second quarter ended November 30.

Parent Oracle reported the total reached $800 million an increase of 20 percent in constant currency. It continued a string of quarters in which revenue grew by more than 20 percent—the prior quarter also showed a 21-percent increase. Oracle’s Fusion Cloud kept pace with revenue also rising by 21 percent to $800 million, although that was a 19-percent increase in constant currency. Other than those metrics, no more was said about the two ERP packages, which were also only briefly mentioned in the week’s earnings webcast. Executives concentrated their comments on Oracle Healthcare, the former Center, and the continued opening of its cloud data centers, along with its autonomous database. Net income of $2.5 billion was 44 percent above the $1.7 billion in last year’s corresponding period. Revenue totaled $12.94 billion for the most recently ended quarter, up 5 percent from $12.28 billion a year ago.
