HITACHI BUYS CUSTOMER EFFECTIVE

Scott Millwood, Customer EffectiveHitachi Solutions America, a Dynamics AX and CRM reseller, has acquired Customer Effective, one of Microsoft's top CRM VARs. Hitachi said the deal will add around 90 highly-skilled CRM resources throughout North America. Customer Effective CEO Scott Millwood, has become SVP Hitachi Solutions Global CRM practice.

Both Hitachi and the CRM firm, which was founded in 2003, were members of the Microsoft Inner Circle for 2013 and Customer Effective, based in Greenville, S.C., was a finalist for CRM Partner of the Year last year. Terms were not disclosed.
