Here’s the official description about what went on during the call. “It was discussed that Sage’s intent is to keep customers on-plan and extend options within the portfolio and with cloud/mobility (such as Sage 300 Cloud/Sage 300/Sage 50) as their business needs change and/ or expand.” I suspect that Canadian resellers are examining their options for selling products from vendors other than Sage. A translation of this was " Our intent is to keep customers on-plan, and that if/as their business needs change or expand, we have other options in the portfolio with cloud/mobility (such as Sage 300 Cloud) if needed." The call "also highlighted the Sage 300 Loud product as a potential/future revenue opportunity for our BV partners." If you're old enough, you remember George McGovern being behind his short-lived VP running mate, Tom Eagleton "1000 percent." Sounds about the same.

THE FUTURE OF BUSINESSVISION
Since BusinessVision was on the Sage Value product list at one point, I would not be surprised if the Canadian product has a limited future. The product’s future was discussed this week during the quarterly call with resellers in Canada
