XERO CHANGING SHOW SCHEDULE Featured

The Xerocon conference will be a global show, New Zealand-based Xero said this week. This means the cloud accounting software company is not returning to the pre-pandemic practice of having annual conferences in different companies.

Xerocon will return to Australia from August 23 through 24 next year. It will return to the United Kingdom and United States in 2024 and debut in Canada in 2025. It sems like a global show would have to have a big virtual component—given what customers pay for Xero it's hard to see users in the United States, for example, paying to attend Xerocon in Australia. That means that in-person shows will pretty much be country shows that are held less frequently. Xero, however, pictured the new schedule as “providing more opportunities for its growing communities to connect.” The company said dates and venues will be published early next year. I suppose the company saves a great deal of money by having fewer country shows.
