Forterro owns 10 ERP units, which operate primarily outside the United States and most of which are manufacturing specialists. It said its financial results included annual revenue of about $223 million and approximately $67 million in EBITDA. In a prepared statement, Fortero CEO Dean Forbes said, “Over the past year, we have spent a great deal of time developing strategies for growth and investing in the people and infrastructure we need to achieve a brand new vision—something we’ve been calling ‘Forterro 3.0’”. The company claims 10,000 customers. These ERP lines include ABAS, which has discrete manufacturing customers in the DACH Middlestand (a group of companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and is the only one that operates in the United States; Clipper for small, discrete French manufacturing businesses; Jeeves for discrete and process manufacturers, distributors and service companies I Sweden.

Forterro, a holding company for ERP products and companies, has been sold to Partners Group for $1.1 billion. The sale was made by the prior ownership group Battery Ventures, which will exit the business with the close, which is expected soon.
