ACUMATICA GETS NEW CEO Featured

Acumatica has named a new CEO, John Case, effective March 1. He replaces Jon Roskill who became CEO in March 2014.

Roskill has become a senior advisor for EQT Partners, which owns Acumatica and IFS.  EQT acquired Acumatica in 2019. The announcement said Roskill  “will continue to support Acumatica’s strategic partnerships, business development, and investor efforts, in addition to providing counsel to other companies in EQT’s portfolio.” There have been some notable changes starting in October when Jessica Gadbois, director of partner enablement, left to become Acumatica Practice Director for Synergy Resources and Geoff Ashley, VP of partner strategy and resources, departed. Gadbois was one of the most visible presenters the company’s Summit conferences prior to this year and Ashley ran the partner channel. Also changed was the title of Ajoy Krishnamoorthy, who was EVP of product, added the title chief strategy officer. Asked about the change last month, a spokesperson said despite the title change, Krishnamoorthy still reported to chief product officer Ali Jani. In hiring Case, the company again hired an experience Microsoft executive. Case was previously CEO of Unify Square, from 2017 until last month. Before that, he spent 16 years one month with Microsoft where he was corporate VP for Office and Office 365 for the last four years. Roskill was with Microsoft from June 1999 through September 2013 where his final position was as corporate VP of the worldwide partner group for four years four months.
