ACCLERATOR HELPS MINORITY BUSINESSES Featured

Oracle NetSuite has launched a program to help build businesses for a variety of groups. NetSuite Accelerator will first focus on helping black entrepreneurs and leaders building sustainable businesses.

But within the next year, it plans to launch programs for women, LGTBQ, Veteran, disabled, and LatinX communities. The program is designed to provide greater access to “processes, best practices, guidance, and technology required to achieve the kind of sustainable growth that only comes from having visibility and control in their businesses,” the NetSuite announcement said. It will partner with incubators, the first of which is the Capital Factory in Austin, Texas, which introduces entrepreneurs in Texas to investors, employees, mentors and customers. Program features include access to NetSuite software what was was termed “a significant guidance”; mentoring and strategic guidance from NetSuite executives, that include founder and EVP Evan Goldberg and one-to-one guidance from subject matter experts at the company; technical and functional support, including a designated functional consultant and Customer Success Manager;  community engagement via free access to educational events, including hackathons and buildathons, with their peers in the NetSuite community; and free NetSuite Certification programs.
