“We will be a number of partners in these industries,” chief revenue officer Sanket Akerkar said during the last month’s Partner Summit. Acumatica will retire the Silver certification level, leaving the Gold level. Full program details will be released in April. Certification will be offered in commerce, construction, distribution and manufacturing. Those who want to certification must achieve industry certification, which requires 15 badges, which are earned through completion of training courses, and three badges in one of the industries. They must then complete two implementations. Akerkar said the company will also support the editions in print and digitally. During last month’s conference, Acumatica also said reseller growth was strong in the last year. VAR revenue grew by 42 percent with 58-percent of growth coming from new licenses. There were 50 new resellers added, but someone noted later, there was also some culling of the existing channel, a standard practice. The company also enhanced its Fast-track program, aimed the accelerating implementations. With version 2.0 of the program, most customers can go live on Acumatica in 90 days or less, Akerkar said.
