Similarly, cloud revenue for the region increased by 4 percent year-over-year, but would have been up 12 percent inconstant currencies with what was described as “a robust performance in Brazil and Mexico.”  In the recent earnings webcast, CEO Luca Mucic also reported North America, along with other regions “a stellar performance in terms of new cloud bookings” .Net income for the most recently ended period was slightly less than $3 billion, an increase of 48 percent over a year ago up 63 percent in constant currency.  Total revenue was approximately $2.7 billion, a decrease of 1 percent from last year’s corresponding period, but rising 3 percent in constant currency. Cloud revenue rose 11 percent to about $2.7 billion, 17-percent higher in constant currency. Outside of the financial software arena, SAP saw “the first signs of recovery in travel and expense management” as travel restrictions eased leading a stabilization in the performance of Concur.
