SAP BUYS NO-CODE DEVELOPER Featured

SAP has acquired AppGyver, which makes products that enable users with no coding skills to build applications for Web and mobile uses. Terms were not disclosed.

Its products include Composer Pro, which AppGyver says can be used “to build apps for all form factors, including mobile, desktop, browser, TV and others”. Its applications will become part of the SAP Business Technology Platform and will be offered as a complement to the low-code offerings from SAP partner Mendix Tech, which is owned by Siemens. According to SAP’s announcement, “The acquisition broadens SAP’s new offering, the RISE with SAP package, of which SAP Business Technology Platform and business process intelligence are key parts.
