EPICOR ROLLS OUT ISV PROGRAM Featured

Vish Thirumurthy, EpicorEpicor Software is introducing a new program for its ISVs. The Epicor Alliance ISV Program is in an early adopter phase with participation by invitation only. Vish Thirumurthy, global head of alliances, described the program at this week’s Epicor Insights conference.

He noted developers gain access to working software instances in a sandbox on Azure with a developer hub for its solution certification program and the software company also introduced a Solutions Gallery where certified ISV products will be showcased. Previously, product visibility has been an issue. “It has been hard to find solutions,” Thirumurthy said. Epicor also established a new integration method for cloud products with a relationship with Jitterbit. Chief Technology Officer Himanshu Palsule noted, for example, Epicor has a CRM offering, but “If customers are running one of several CRMs out there, Jitterbit will help with the integration.” Palsule said the strategy is one of giving customers a choice. For desktop applications, Epicor’s Service Connect is the integration tool for applications from other vendors. Service Connect is not being used for the cloud.
