ACCUFUND ROLLS OUT WORK ORDERS Featured

Peter Stam, AccuFundNonprofit software vendor AccuFund has introduced a Work Orders module. The software  is available as a mobile app for iPads and Android tables and a standard module in the AccuFund Accounting Suite. The new module can be utilized by a variety of entities.

Among them are municipalities, state governments and nonprofit agencies, including internal departments to create and update work orders for customer or constituent maintenance and repairs. "Mobile Work Orders adds flexibility for these organizations, especially those that have a large physical plant and need the ability to track numerous ongoing service requests, both internal and external," AccuFund president Peter Stam said in a prepared statement. All types of work orders can be created, attributed to specific departments and stored so only that department sees its documents. These can be linked to service locations for a utility, addresses in the AccuFund Property Tax module for inspections, general addresses for citizen requests, and fixed assets for maintenance purposes.
Resources or a specific crew of employees can be assigned to each order, with one person identified as crew leader. Fixed assets can be assigned to specific crew member or to the entire crew. Meters can also be assigned for a utility billing. Mobile users can download assignments to tablets. Updates can be uploaded to the Work Orders module in AccuFund. The mobile app is optimized for mobile responsiveness and touch screen ease-of-use. Work Orders integrates with the AccuFund Utility Billing module for invoicing customers on work related municipal utilities integrates with the Property Tax module for locating and tying Work Orders to properties and addresses that receive property tax billing. It is part of both the Standard and Profession Editions with separate license packages for nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
