Manufacturing software vendor QAD has renamed its ERP application, QAD Adaptive ERP. The move this week follows last month’s rebranding of three product lines that had been acquired over the last 13 years. 

FinancialForce has introduced spring releases of its Professional Services Automation and Customer-Centric ERP products. Both applications feature a new user experience built via the Salesforce Lightning development framework and new financial analytics powered by Salesforce Einstein, which utilizes artificial intelligence.

The Supreme Court’s Wayfair decision, which allows states to collect tax on out-of-state sales, has been good for Avalara, CEO Scott McFarlane said this week. He made his comment’s during this week’s webcast for earnings for the first quarter ended March 31.
