Sage has announced three executive promotion, including making Nancy Teixera the permanent leader of Sage’s channel. She was named VP of partner strategy and sales for North America, after holding that job on an interim basis since May.

Mark Hurd, co-CEO of Oracle, has died. Oracle founder and chairman Larry Ellison confirmed the death in a statement posted to Hurd’s personal website.
