Intuit plans to pay about $12 billion in cash and stock for email and marketing software company, Mailchimp. This follows the December acquisition of Credit Karma for $7.1 billion.

 Fifty-three percent of employers will ask employees returning to offices for proof of vaccination, according to a newly released survey from Oracle NetSuite. Despite virus worries most of the 500 business leaders polled are seeing increased demand for goods and services.

Oracle reported strong growth for its NetSuite operations for the first quarter ended August 31. The database software company said NetSuite ERP revenue was up by 28 percent year-over-year while Fusion ERP sales jumped 32 percent.
