Visma, which continues to buy financial software companies at a rapid pace, reported a 48.4-percent increase in after-tax income on a 17.9-percent rise in revenue for the third quarter ended September 30.

Columbus, the Dynamics reseller based in Denmark, has named Sandy Williams as EVP of its SMB division in the United States. It has also made other high-level decisions, the first such moves since Søren Krogh Knudsen took over as CEO in April.

 Infor has acquired Lighthouse Systems, which makes manufacturing execution systems. It is the first acquisition in 19 months for a company that has lived on M&A.
