Cegid, which makes financial and retail software, has acquired StoreIQ, which also makes retail software. Terms were not disclosed.

 Cloud at Work, a hosting company that is a sister to reseller Net at Work, has opened a data center in Toronto, Ont. The new facility follows the approval by Cloud at Work as Strategic Hosting Provider for migrating the software company’s on-premise customers to the cloud.

 NetSuite’s hot pace shows no signs of slowing down for the year ended May 31.  Parent Oracle reported this week revenue for the cloud-based products grew by 27 percent in the fourth quarter, up 30 percent in constant currency.
