Insightsoftware has acquired Legerity, a London, England-based company that makes the accounting rules platform, FastPost. Terms were not disclosed.

 Channel veteran Peter Jensen has become director of business applications strategy at Microsoft. Jensen, who has been with the software company for 19 years nine months, assumed the new position this month.

 Sage has moved chief people officer, Erna de Ruijter, into the position of COO, according to her LinkedIn profile. She replaces Lee Perkins, who worked at Sage for more than nine years in two different tenures.
