Intuit has enabled QuickBooks Online Advanced to sync with Excel. The mid-market software also now intebrates with Centage’s Planning Maestro, part of a number of QuickBooks enhancements announced recently for April.

Ian Howells, who formerly led the Sage Intacct marketing program, has taken a job as chief marketing officer at Starhawk. Howells' LinkedIn profile show he took the job with the company, whose products enable developers to find, triage and fix bugs, this month.

North America posted 11-percent recurring revenue growth for the Sage Group for the first quarter ended December 31. That led all regions reported by Sage in this week’s trading update.
