Deltek has acquired Avitru, which makes building specification systems. Originally known as ARCOM, Avitru, based in Atlanta, Ga., markets SpecText, SpecBuilder Cloud and e-SPECS.

Stephen Blythe has turned over ownership of Blytheco to two of the reselling firm’s executives. Executive January 1, Lori Seal and Phil Sim took over ownership of the 39-year old VAR.

Manufacturing software vendor QAD has named one of its veteran executives, Anton Chilton, as CEO. He succeeds the late Karl Lopker, who died on August 25 after a 13-year battle with stage 4 prostate cancer.
