Encore Business Solutions of Winnipeg, Manitoba, has acquired Seattle, Wash.-based Fine Solutions. Terms were not disclosed. The deal, which involves two Dynamics resellers, gives Encore offices in Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Vancouver, B.C.

Open Systems has acquired Precise Software, which develops applications for the apparel decorating industry. The acquired operations will operate as the Precise Software division. The announcement quoted CEO Michael Bertini, who has not returned a telephone call or email in years.

A series of enhancements Abila MIP Advance has been introduced by Community Brands. Advance is a cloud-based version of MIP Fund Accounting software.
