AVALARA WIDENS LOSS

Scott McFarlane, AvalaraAvalara lost $17.8 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 39 percent more than the  $15.4 million in red ink prior year. Revenue for the most recently ended quarter was $63.7 million, rising 25 percent from $50.9 million a year ago.

SAGE: INTERIM CMO MADE PERMANENT

Ron McMurtie, SageSage has named Ron McMurtie as chief marketing officer, after he served as an interim CMO since November. Before that, he was  EVP of customer marketing for the software company from November 2016 through September 2017.

INFOR COMP BACK TO NORMAL

Charles Phillips, InforCompensation for named executives for Infor dropped back to relatively normal levels for the year ended April 30, 2018. Compensation for 2017 was inflated by bonuses handed out for their work on the major investment in Infor by Koch Industries.
