Pascal Houillon, ushered out of his position as CEO of Sage North America, has become active in a French company designed to provide cloud-based digital payments. Houillon has become an investor and chairman of the strategic committee of Clearnox, which is described as providing the services to small and mid-size businesses. "The goal is to confirm the success of the solution in mainland Europe then I will find a Private Equity firm to finance the expansion of the company to the U.S. market," Houillon said in a LinkedIn message regarding his activities.

The purchases of two resellers in the United States and a consulting organization in Denmark this year boosted results for Columbus for the third quarter ended September 30. AccountMate Software his given its President's Award to Alex Kleyff of Staten Island, N.Y.-based A.K.A. Consulting.
