NET@WORK BUYING CLA SAGE BIZ Featured

Alex Solomon, Net@WorkReseller Net@Work has acquired the Peoria, Ill.-based Sage Practice of accounting firm CliftonLarsonAllen. The deal involves clients of CLA's Sage 100, HRMS and BusinessWorks applications. CLA has been a member of Net@Work's Partner Alliance Program and the companies said the relationship is expanding with Net@Work providing technology services through CLA's offices.

The deal involves about 250 Sage customers. Net@Work co-founder Alex Solomon says the CLA deal shows how the alliance program is working. "There are 61 partners and the program is growing nicely," Solomon says. Besides providing partners with resources through Net@Work, the program gives the VAR a chance to explore possible acquisitions. The deal also adds to the growing HRMS Sage business for Net@Work, which Solomon says has made his organization a leader in that segment among Sage VARs.
