The company said security patches will end on April 30, 2031. The announcement was made by Mike Morton, VP for Dynamics Business Central, which is the product Microsoft is pushing GP users toward. This follows Microsoft’ disastrous handling of the GP announcement in April 2023 when it said new licenses would be sold after 2026. After Microsoft acquired Great Plains Software in 2000, the product became Microsoft Great Plains in 2004 and Dynamics GP in 2006.
