XERO CFO LEAVING IN MARCH Featured

Xero’s chief financial officer, Kirsty Godfrey-Billy will leave the company on March 31. The New Zealand-based software company said this week that it will start a global search for a new CFO.

Godfrey-Billy joined the company in April 2016 as chief accounting officer and moved into the CFO spot in October 2018. In a prepared statement, Godfrey-Billy said it was time for her to take a break and consider her next career move. Xero said she will be available to help in the transaction. Before her eight-and-a-half-year tenure at the company, Godfrey-Billy spent six years with PWC for New Zealand, where she was a partner for all but nine months of that period. She was also with PWC in New Zealand from 1998 through 2001.
