The deal, expected to close next month, will also mark the end of involvement in the South Africa-based manufacturing software company for Phil Duff who founded Syspro in 1978. Duff will retire next month. Jaco Maritz, who was appointed CEO in 2022 and will continue to lead Syspro. Mike Ettling, CEO of Unit, will become chairman of the Syspro board. Syspro has about 400 employees globally, including Syspro USA.
