Zoho has introduced Zoho CRM  for Everyone, which the software company says can be used to draw together company teams.

At this week’s Zoholics conference, Vibhav Vankayala, head of product marketing, described the concept of the new product this way: “The  sales order is the single source of truth from start to the finish” and said it was a process of “democratizing CRM”. He said it is a matter of “Connecting teams with their own context.” The Zoho press release said Everyone allows sales teams to communicate and coordinate with other teams from a single place. Each team, Vaibhav VS said, needs their own space. Teams modules are used to created these spaces, which can be done via use of templates, such as expense tracking, legal contract management and customer onboarding or through custom creation. Teams use Requesters when they need something from a different team, such as a deliverable or contribution and can track the status of these requests. In terms of workflow, Vaibhav VS, noted, “Sales teams can directly assign a task to the legal team.” The Zero announcement said, “These capabilities stand to improve visibility for every stakeholder in the customer journey, mitigate gaps in coordination, reduce turnaround time, and improve the quality of the customer experience.”
